Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) have been organized by a group of stakeholders namely YFA and SVC to enhance the product quality and income of the farming communities in India, particularly focusing in the states of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and parts of Maharashtra. These FPOs are supported by local technical institutions particularly Krishi Vigyan Kendras. The strategy and management support is provided by partners consortium and part of financial assistance provided by NABARD and local Banks.
Based on the primarily requirement the product / products have been brought into a common branding namely ‘Trupti’ and would be marketed. The products include Organic cereals, pulses, fruits, cotton and other processed goods. Sheep for the purpose wool production and meat is also promoted by the consortium through women farmers groups.

Registration:
The farmers producers organizations are registered with MCA under the Companies Act. Each farmer has a share capital invested and each group elected / selected board of directors including a CEO to manage the affairs of the company.
Each company aiming to contribute around Rs.1.00 million as their capital and further mobilise the equal amounts from institutions like SFAC, NABARD and other Banks.
Promotor organizations:
YFA: Youth For Acton as on organization, was inspired by the selfless work of Baba Amte. During his National Tour with Youths in connection with the "Bharat Jodo" or "Knit India" movement, he showed overwhelming concern for the poor particularly women, children, degrading eco-system and its impact on health, income and livelihood patterns in the villages. In a series of sharing sessions with group of young men, he first mooted the idea of an organized team to put in efforts at the grassroots level searching for sustainable solutions to the problems. Thus YFA came into existence formally in the year 1986 initially consisting of Vadere Ramachandra Reddy, the first donor of land for the Bhoodhan movement VinobhaBhave, Shri.KanakaiahSashtry and Shri.E. VenkatRamnayya. YFA was registered under the Andhra Pradesh (Telangana Areas) Public Societies Registration, 1350 Fasli (Act of 1350F) Registration no: 1528 of 1986 dated 13th July, 1986.
SVC: Sai Vedconsultancy was established in 1991 as sole proprietary basis to fulfill the longstanding need for livelihood analysis, corporate support, financial analysis, action research and development of alternative opportunities for various low income groups.
